GHANA-NIGERIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY TO BE INAUGURATED OCTOBER

Ghana-Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be inaugurated on October 9 in Accra as part of a three-day Ghana-Nigeria Business Summit.? The Chamber is expected to promote and translate trade, industrial activities and investment between the two countries into realities. The organizer and Chief Executive Officer of Vintage Vision, Michael Ajayi, disclosed this recently to newsmen in Accra, Ghana.?

According to Ajayi, the Summit which has the theme “Promoting Trade and Investment” will be declared opened by President Musa Yar’Adua and President John Kufor of Nigeria and Ghana respectively. He added that the summit would facilitate bilateral trade relationship through the signing of a trade agreement between the two countries so as to provide a platform for small, medium and big businesses to cooperate and network.

Ajayi said that other objectives of the summit include accelerating economic integration and development through public and private sectors collaboration; and forming pressure group that would influence government policies to suit private sector enterprises in both countries.
