Post harvest losses in most African countries have opened a vista of untapped opportunities for agro-processors willing to invest in the continent.

??

The opportunities are coming at a time when International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan, Nigeria and national partners are offering better and higher yielding crop varieties to farmers across the continent.

??

???This makes the private sector a key partner in providing solution to the losses??? Peter Hartmann, IITA Director-General, stated during a courtesy visit of Per Lindgarde, Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria, to IITA in Ibadan.
