QUELEA QUELEA BIRDS DESTROY 100 FARM |

The Chairman of Konduga Local Government, Alhaji Abba Sheriff said that his Local Government has procured pesticide for the control of the Quelea quelea birds which has invaded over 100 farmlands in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State. The council Chairman has called on State and Federal Government to come to the rescue of the farmers through provision of pesticide for the control of the birds.
The invasion of these destructive birds had spread to Kawori, Maidumari, Fshamari, Fuweri, Bulabulin and other small villages in the Konduga Local Government Area.
